We are governed by the laws of nature, both mystical and physical. They mirror each other. The mystical laws initiate acts of creation and the physical laws manage them. It’s not complicated. Choices generate consequences. Collective negative choices generate vast resources of what I think of as psychic free radicals. This, too, is logic—the physics of creation. Likewise, prayer generates grace. Vast resources of grace channel inspiration to individuals and groups, supporting courage, benevolence, and acts of service. Human beings do not have to suffer from wars or local conflicts or terrorist attacks. These are optional nightmares, choices we make. When we ask, “How could this terrible event happen? Where was God?” the answer is “Hidden in the power of nature: human nature, Mother Nature, and Divine Nature.” That is the cosmic holy trinity.
